Laser cutting is the first step in almost everything we fabricate, and it is available as a stand-alone service to shops, contractors and manufacturers across Central Arkansas. Browning's Welding & Fabrication runs a CO2 laser in Greenbrier, Arkansas, just north of Conway, that cuts sheet and plate at up to 945 inches per minute with clean, square edges and repeatable accuracy.
What we cut
Steel, stainless steel and aluminum sheet and plate. Brackets, gussets, panels, flanges, blanks for press-brake forming, signage and decorative pieces, and intricate profiles that a plasma table or a shear cannot produce cleanly. Send a DXF, DWG or STEP file and we can nest and cut from it directly.
Fiber engraving and part marking
A fiber engraver marks part numbers, logos, serials and assembly references directly on the metal, so parts arrive identified and ready for the next step.
Cut only, or cut and finish
Many customers send us a file and pick up a stack of blanks. Others hand us the whole job: we cut, form on the press brake, weld, machine and finish, and they receive complete parts. Either way the laser gets the job started on time.
Prototype quantities and production runs are both welcome. Quotes go out within one business day.

What file types do you need for laser cutting?
DXF or DWG is ideal. STEP files and PDF drawings also work, and we can draw simple parts from a sketch or a sample.
Can you laser cut just my parts, without fabrication?
Yes. Cut-only orders are welcome. We will nest your parts, cut them and have them ready for pickup or shipping.
Can you mark or engrave parts?
Yes. Our fiber engraver marks part numbers, logos and text directly on the metal.
Do you form the parts after cutting?
Yes. Laser-cut blanks go straight to our press brake, rollers and welding department when you want finished parts.
